The most crucial thing to keep in mind when asking God for a financial miracle or breakthrough is that He is
more concerned with the attitude of our hearts than with the amount of money we have or will have.
God frequently refers to His children's "prosperity" when He talks about strong faith, long life, good health, blessing of family and friends, etc. Keep in mind that God's "prosperity" frequently has nothing to do with wealth. God understands how money may actually hinder our spiritual development and relationship with Him, which is the most crucial aspect of our earthly life, if our heart and motives are not in the proper place.
God is therefore incredibly wise. He is aware that having money is a requirement for living. After all, if we don't have enough money, how can we give others the gift of money? Our Lord likes to bless (financially) His children, especially when He knows we will be excellent stewards of those blessings, once our priorities are set with God first.

Three considerations before requesting material blessings
1.) God has to come first.
Nobody is able to serve two masters. You will either be loyal to one and detest the other, or you will loathe the one and adore the other. You cannot serve God and get wealth. –Matt. 6:24;
2.) To be trustworthy with the gifts God has already given us, we must first be trustworthy with what He has already given us. "Whoever can be trusted with very little will also be trusted with much, and whoever website is dishonest with very little will likewise be dishonest with much," the Bible says. Who then will trust you with true riches if you haven't been reliable handling worldly wealth? –Lk 16:10-11


3.) He calls us to be good stewards of the resources He is about to provide us by tithing to His Church and giving to the needy (Proverbs 22:9). "Bring the entire tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house," He says. The Lord Almighty replies, "Test Me in this, and see if I won't open the floodgates of Heaven and pour out
so  much that there will be many blessings that there won't be enough room to store them. –Mal. 3:10.
(*Note: The only time in the Bible that God commands us to "test Him" is with our financial situation.)
